Privacy notice

Browsing share.dance requires no account. There is currently no analytics or tracking service in use, and no cookies are set for visitors beyond what is technically required to serve the pages.

Event submissions

When you submit an event we store what you provide: the event details (name, date, times, link and any additional information you enter), an uploaded flyer image if you attach one, and your contact email if you choose to give it.

A contact email is optional. If you provide one, it is used only to review the submission and to reach out with questions, and is never published. We store a hashed version of your IP address to help prevent abuse. The raw IP address is not stored with the submission.

Submissions that are not published are kept only for as long as needed to review them, and can be deleted on request at any time. Accepted submissions are kept as the source record of the published event.

Feedback form

The contact and feedback form is provided by a third-party service, Tally (tally.so). Anything entered there is processed by Tally and forwarded to us.

Hosting and infrastructure

share.dance is built on Supabase (database and file storage) and hosted on Vercel. Both act as processors on our behalf and may retain technical server logs for a limited time to operate and secure the service.

Your rights

You can ask what data we hold about you, request a correction, or request deletion — including removal of a submitted event that concerns you — at any time using the contact details on this page.
