Privacy notice

The short version

Browsing share.dance requires no account and collects no personal data. There is no tracking, no analytics service and no cookies for visitors.

Event submissions

When you submit an event, we store what you provide: the event information (title, description, link, date, place, dance styles, organiser), your email address and — if given — your name and an uploaded file (flyer/image).

• Purpose: reviewing the submission, follow-up questions, and — after our approval — publishing the event on share.dance.
• Your email address and name are never published and are visible only to the share.dance operators.
• Uploaded flyers are not publicly accessible until approval.
• To protect against abuse we store a technical, non-reversible checksum of your IP address (never the IP address itself).
• Retention: rejected submissions, including files, are deleted after 90 days at the latest. Accepted submissions are kept as the source record of the published event.

Feedback form

The «report a mistake» / contact form is provided by Tally (tally.so), a third-party service. Anything you enter there is processed by Tally and forwarded to us. Only use it for information you are comfortable sharing that way.

Where data is processed

Data is stored with our hosting providers Supabase (database, file storage) and delivered via Vercel (hosting, server logs — deleted automatically after a short time). Both act as processors on our behalf.

Your rights

You can request information about your stored data, corrections, or deletion at any time — including removal of an event that concerns you: contact form. We delete the relevant submission including files.
